{"id":16119,"date":"2024-07-23T16:22:00","date_gmt":"2024-07-23T14:22:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sebastianodessanay.com\/?p=16119"},"modified":"2024-08-03T17:23:32","modified_gmt":"2024-08-03T15:23:32","slug":"paraulas-dal-vivo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sebastianodessanay.com\/it\/2024\/07\/paraulas-dal-vivo\/","title":{"rendered":"Paraulas dal vivo"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"820\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/sebastianodessanay.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/2022-10-08-Insu-web-39-820x1024.jpeg\" alt=\"Paraulas-Insulae-Lab-feat\" class=\"wp-image-14175\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the <strong>1st of August in Oliena<\/strong> and on the <strong>8th of August in Cagliari<\/strong>, I will be playing live with <strong>Paraulas<\/strong>, a musical project produced by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/insulaelab.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">INSULAE LAB<\/a><\/strong>, the center of jazz production and artistic creativity of the Mediterranean islands, born in Berchidda in September 2022, conceived and realised by the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/timeinjazz.it\/associazione\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Time in Jazz<\/a><\/strong> <strong>Association<\/strong> , with the artistic direction of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.paolofresu.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Paolo Fresu<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Paraulas<\/strong> wants to represent, in music, the encounters and clashes between different cultures, which is the game of life. Sardinian and Sicilian musicians converge in this project, the singers <strong>Rossella Faa<\/strong> and <strong>Elisa Nocita<\/strong>, the guitarist <strong>Giacomo Deiana<\/strong>, the double bassist <strong>Sebastiano Dessanay<\/strong> and the drummer <strong>Emanuele<\/strong> <strong>Primavera<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Paraulas<\/strong> is a contemporary scat that originates from the rhythm of work and <strong>love songs<\/strong>. They are ancient nursery rhymes or long notes like calls, which mix and intertwine with the rhythms of\u00a0<strong>jazz<\/strong>, <strong>North Africa<\/strong>, <strong>South America<\/strong> and new pulsations are born. Insular voices that sing their respective traditions on a solid rhythm section led by some of the protagonists of the jazz and traditional scene of <strong>Sardinia<\/strong> and <strong>Sicily<\/strong>. Sono antiche filastrocche o note lunghe come richiami, che si mescolano e si intrecciano ai ritmi del&nbsp;jazz, del nord Africa, del sud America e nascono nuove pulsazioni. Voci insulari che cantano le rispettive tradizioni su una solida sezione ritmica condotta da alcuni dei protagonisti della scena jazzistica e tradizionale della Sardegna e della Sicilia.
