The new video by the Arkos Trio, created by Matteo Maiore at the Church of St. Peter of the Images in Bulzi in August 2023, has been included in the Sardegna Digital Library archive. This is the trio’s second video (the first dates back to 2020 at the rural church of San Lorenzo di Rebeccu, you can watch it HERE), documenting a series of musical performances inspired by the charm of the most evocative places in the Sardinian territory.
Salvatore Maiore and Sebastiano Dessanay, the composers of the music, together with Maria Vicentini, form a new chamber ensemble that seeks to embark on a journey in search of magical places to enjoy splendid acoustics. The trio’s music is permeated with ancestral sounds, with a strong reference to traditional Mediterranean music and European jazz. Special thanks to Bulzi Turismo for the hospitality.
