In June 2025, I composed the original music for A True Story, a short video produced by the Fondazione Sardegna Film Commission, with concept and artistic direction by Carolina Melis. The video will be screened at Expo 2025 in Osaka, inside the Italy Pavilion during the week dedicated to Sardinia. The video emphasizes the nuraghi, archaeological landmarks awaiting UNESCO World Heritage recognition, which stand unchanged through the millennia.
The video was created using artificial intelligence as both a creative and conceptual tool. With the help of sound engineer Luca Balduzzi, my music was also manipulated using AI to follow the visual narrative, as well as processed with audio filters that reflect the video’s temporal progression from the 1930s to a near future.
